Yeen Mankin has reserved a block of rooms at the Hotel Shattuck Plaza for the nights of June 3, 4 & 5. The negotiated rate is $89 per night (plus tax) for a single or double room. A charge of $10 will apply for an additional person.

Participants can start calling in immediately to make their reservations. Please cite the group name "Grid Portals" in order to obtain the special rate. The cut-off date is Thursday, May 3, at which point the block will be released.

Building 2 - Conference Room 100B Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory One Cyclotron Road Berkeley, CA 94720

Getting to/from Building 2 - Conference Room 100B The off-site Lab bus picks up every 10 minutes from the Berkeley Lab bus stop (teal sign) located at the corner of Center Street and Shattuck (one block from Hotel Shatttuck, in front of the Berkeley BART station), and takes passengers up to Building 65 (Station 1) in the lab. From Building 65, please catch the on-site Lab bus and inform the driver that you would like to be dropped off at Building 2. Conference Room 100B is located on the ground floor.

To return to the Hotel Shattuck, please reverse the process by catching an on-site bus from the Building 2 stop to Building 65. At Building 65, please catch the off-site shuttle to the Center/Shattuck bus stop.
